Asma ul Husna

Muslims believe that there are an elite group of names of God, or the Best names, which number 99. The Asma’ Allah al-Husná, or Asma ul Husna, are the 99 Names of God or the 99 Attributes of God.

Prophet Muhammad is believed to have said:

“To God belongs 99 names, 100 minus 1; anyone who memorizes them will enter Paradise; He is odd (i.e. odd number, He is the Only One), and He loves odd numbers (such as 99).”

Dhikr (or Zikr) means "pronouncement", "invocation" or "remembrance". It is a practice of remembrance of God. Dhikr as a devotional act often involves the repetition of the names of Allah.
