A song from the Hindi film Do Ankhen Barah Haath (1957). Sung by Lata Mangeshkar, to the music composed by Vasant Deasi. The lyrics are by Bharat Vyas.
Oh Master, we are your servants
May our actions be such
That we walk in virtue, and shun wrong
So that we laugh as life-breath leaves us.

ae maalik tere bande hum
aise ho humare karam
nekee par chale, aur badee se taley,
takey huste huey nikley dum
ye andheraa ghanaa chhaa rahaa,
tera insaan ghabara rahaa
ho rahaa bekhabar, kuch na aata najar,
sukh ka sooraj chupa ja rahaa
hai teri roshni mein jo dum
to amawas ko kar de poonam
bada kamjor hain aadmi,
abhi laakhon hain is mein kamee
par tu jo khadaa, hai dayalu bada,
teri kirpa se dharti thami
diya tune humey jab janam
too hee zelegaa hum sab ke ghum
jab julmon ka ho saamnaa,
tab tu hi humey thaamnaa
voh burai karey, hum bhalai bharey,
nahi badley ki ho kaamnaa
badh uthey pyaar ka har kadam
aur mitey bair ka ye bharam

It. Is in raag bharvi but it not pure bharavi
It is in the raga Basant Mukhari with touches of Malkauns raga: This raga is formed by changing the nishad of the great raga Bhairav. Some look upon Basant Mukhari as a fusion of Bhairav and Bhairavi: It is believed to be an import from the Carnatic paddhati or tradition of classical music.
Basant Mukhari is the Hindustani equivalent of the 14th Carnatic Melakarta "Vakulaabharanam" in the 72 raga scheme. It is obtained very simply by reducing the nishada in the Hindustani raga "Bhairav". In other words, you have to sing Bhairav with the komal ni instead of the shuddh ni.
Mostly, Raag Bhairavi.
