Kaa Va Vaa, is rendered in Varali and not Kambhoji as stated in the space under Jon Higgins.
Since you are writing about different songs, including those in Tamil, would you like to write about Skanda Shasti Kavacham and Kandar Anubhuti ? The former is a composition of Devaraya Swamigal (antecedents unknown) and is one of the most important devotional works on Lord Muruga. Simple to understand, it is verily a kavach or armour for every person who devoutly sings the same. Kandar Anubhuti was composed by Arunagirinathar, the celebrated composer of Thiruppugazh. Arunagirinathar lived in the 15th century, according to an article in Wikipedia. It is set in extremely poetic and classical Tamil, unike Skanda Shasti Kavacham, but is no less in devotional purport
